This AI-powered chatbot allows health science students to explore a variety of fictional patients and initiate one-on-one conversations designed to support practice and person-centered communication. Learners can view presenting concerns, select a patient, and begin a simulated dialogue to practice:
- Building rapport
- Eliciting a complete list of concerns
- Responding with empathy and understanding
- Interprofessional awareness
How To Use
- Click "Virtual Patients" on the bottom right
- Review available patients and their chief concerns
- Click a patient to chat (85 languages supported)
- To select a specific patient, ask for them by name
Type "full list of patients" to view all available cases
Post-Chat Evaluation
- End your patient interaction by saying "goodbye" and receive your personalized feedback.
- If you do not immediately receive feedback, type "evaluate me"
This triggers feedback, identifying your strengths and areas for improvement.
