Intro to IPE hero

This online interprofessional experience brings together students from Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy to explore the vital roles each profession plays in collaborative care. Teams of 5–7 students engage in rich discussion, sharing perspectives about their professional responsibilities and learning how teamwork directly affects patient outcomes.

What makes this session especially powerful is hearing directly from patients. After watching a video that recounts a traumatic episode and the lifesaving care they received, teams reflect together on the patient’s experience and the collaborative behaviors that made a difference.

According to past participants, this event is not only eye-opening—it’s deeply meaningful, offering a firsthand look at how interprofessional collaboration saves lives.
