An introduction to Cannabis epidemiology, treatment, and safety recommendations in the context of legalization. In a shifting landscape where consumption of cannabis is legal, healthcare workers, counselors, and social professionals and pre-professionals need accurate information about the benefits and risks of cannabis use, and guidance on people-centered approaches to adequately engage patients and clients in positive health and behavior outcomes. This module introduces attendees to key concepts for the individual practitioner or team leader to navigate a relatively new cannabis reality where AZ CANN.
